Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress who was born in Berkeley on the 1st of October 1996. She is an actress well-known for Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).
Asia Argento, born in Rome into a family that includes actors and directors, also pursued these careers. The Church, directed by Michele Soavi, was her debut role. She was later cast as Nanni Moretti's daughter Red Wood Pigeon It was when she starred in Close Friends written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career really took off and she had the opportunity to transition from roles that were played by young girls, to larger, more sophisticated role. The film received a great reception at the Cannes International Film Festival. Daria Nicholodi is one of Argento's favorites actresses and played the role of an anorexic child searching for their murderer. Asia worked alongside Dario Argento on three movies, Trauma, The Stendhal Syndrome as well as the Phantom of the Opera. In Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato nozze, Asia's absorption manner of character acting was utilized well. She played Arianna in the film Perdiamoci by Carlo Verdone di vista, a physically-disabled girl, was a challenging and complicated role that earned she the David di Donatello award as the most outstanding actress. The film also featured her in a major part on the screen in Queen Margot, directed by Patrice Cereau.
